After a rigorous selection process, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the Best SME Cloud Solution in this year’s Comms National Awards. From numerous submissions from leading cloud communications providers, we now join just 8 other companies as 2016 finalists.
Later in the year, we’ll find out whether we’ve won this prestigious award at a gala event on October 13th at the Hilton Park Lane, London. However, for now, we’re proud to have achieved this milestone – a result that recognises the hard work of our people as well as the quality of our cloud based hosted telephone systems.

Specifically, the Comms National judges considered our recent work with Age UK Essex, a small team that’s part of the wider Age UK group.
‘REVOLUTIONISING’ THE WAY CALLS ARE HANDLED
Before Loop Voice & Data, Age UK Essex faced several difficulties. Increasing service quality was a major priority, but cost limitations made this a difficult balancing act. What’s more, with a distributed workforce across all of Essex, it was hard to find an effective way to support mobility and maintain constant communication.
Information Services Manager at Age UK Essex commented, “The cloud-based system provided by Loop Voice & Data has revolutionised the organisation. For a spend that has stayed approximately the same, Age UK Essex can now deliver a more accessible, responsive service with better client service since someone is always available to take a call. We can also deliver Triage services that deal with client needs immediately by connecting them to the right person . We’ve also seen cost-savings on business mobile phones. With mobile twinning, there is no longer a need for work mobiles – 10 phones have already been cut, while 60 more could potentially be cut after a review process. We can say with confidence that Loop Voice & Data’s hosted telephone systems has both enabled Age UK Essex to service clients better while having a tangible positive financial impact on the charity.”
Taking a customer-centric approach, we advised and implemented a cloud solution that essentially turned all of Essex into a single site. We introduced mobile twinning so unanswered calls on a desk phone could be automatically transferred to a mobile, hunt groups to keep teams working together – even in different locations – and DDI numbers to make individuals easier to reach.
As a result of a cloud-based solution, Age UK Essex could triage incoming calls more accurately, ensure someone was always available to take a call, and make administration possible from any location. What’s more, this was all achieved within a spend that stayed approximately the same.
AN INNOVATIVE CLOUD-BASED TELEPHONY SOLUTION
According to Comms National, the Best SME Cloud Solution recognises resellers that provide ‘innovative cloud-based solutions that meet SME end-user requirements.’ However, it’s also the close relationships that we build with our customers that ensures real value.
