Broadband ADSL
Broadband allows you to download and send data efficiently and reliably at high speeds via an ‘always on’ connection. It can also save you money when compared to other connectivity services such as ISDN or dial-up. We offer a range of UK-wide Broadband packages designed to suit every organisation, with downloads speeds of up to 8Mbps and upload speeds of up to 512Kbps.
So whether you’re aiming to link up multiple sites or simply enable Internet access for home workers via the same line that they use for their phone calls, a Broadband connection will provide the capabilities you need, and all via a flat monthly fee which simplifies cost management.
SDSL
The A in ADSL stands for ‘asynchronous’, meaning not the same on both sides, a fact which is demonstrated by the difference in upload and download speeds. However, if you opt for an SDSL connection (S for synchronous) then the upload speed is the same as the download speed.
With the capability to download and upload at 2Mbps, plus the option for a 1:1 contention ratio, this makes SDSL ideal as a cost-effective alternative to leased lines. It also provides a much better option for data-hungry businesses such as graphic designers or photographers. Anyone in fact who needs to send high volumes of data or upload large files to the Internet.
